Abstract:In 1910, Cai Yuanpei proposed the saying “suppressing all schools of thought and respecting Confucianism alone”. In 1916, Yi Baisha discussed Dong Zhongshu, who “destroyed all schools of thought and respected Confucianism alone”, and then gradually formed the relationship between Dong Zhongshu and “destroyed all schools of thought and respected Confucianism alone”. Judging from the time of countermeasures, Dong Zhongshu is not the first advocate of “destroying all schools of thought and respecting Confucianism alone.” From the perspective of content, Dong Zhongshu led the great tradition, and loved the subjects of the Six Arts, Confucius’ arts and “respecting Confucianism alone”.
